PIX Connect: How to Measure Plastic Temperature with the Event Grabber Tool

This video demonstrates two methods for measuring the infrared temperature of fast-moving plastic parts, specifically preforms for plastic bottles.

The video showcases how our IR cameras and the PIX Connect software are used to monitor the temperature of moving preforms. The software provides a live image, measurement areas, a temperature-time diagram, and an “event grabber” function that automatically takes snapshots when a temperature threshold is exceeded. Also, a demonstration of how CTlaser Fast Pyrometer with a response time of just nine milliseconds, can be used for ultra-fast applications, detecting the temperature of each individual preform.
