Emissivity Table

for Long Wavelength Infrared Pyrometers and Thermal Cameras

The following table provides recommended emissivity values for a variety of materials under specific surface and temperature conditions for conventional LT infrared sensing pyrometers and thermal cameras. These values are intended as practical reference points.

Please note that emissivity depends strongly on factors such as surface finish, oxidation state, wavelength, and measurement geometry. The values listed should therefore be regarded as recommendations only. For critical applications, we advise verifying emissivity experimentally under the actual measurement conditions.
