Furnace Package

The Furnace Package is a thermal imager based system dedicated for wall mounting on furnaces. It is a combination of an Xi 1M, a water cooled housing, an Air purge flange laminar with protective window and a Process interface. Designed to withstand ambient temperatures of up to 250°C (482 °F), this robust system provides reliable operation of the camera in extreme heat conditions. The housing is engineered with a recommended water flow rate of 1-5 liters per minute using water with a temperature lower than 30°C (86 °F). This efficient cooling mechanism effectively prevents the infrared camera from overheating, thus maintaining the integrity of temperature measurements. The Air purge flange laminar, which can also be water cooled, is particularly useful in environments with dust, smoke, or fumes, as it protects the camera lens from contaminants. In addition the air flow direction of the air purge can be adjusted between a laminar air curtain parallel to the lens and an orthogonal air flow direction. This can be very useful especially in installations where hot air chimney effects can cause overheating problems of the camera or lens. The Xi 1M FP package comes pre assembled in a designated box, but offers also some configuration options for the best fit.
