A protective window safeguards the optics of sensing heads in LT, 1M, 2M, 3M, and 4M models. Compatible with CF lenses, it ensures easy installation and robust protection. With a sturdy stainless steel housing and high-transmission window, it prevents environmental contaminants and physical damage, maintaining accuracy for reliable measurements in demanding environments. Options include external threads for massive housings.

Which window should I choose from?

Different window materials must be chosen depending on the infrared sensor’s spectral sensitivity. The infrared transmissive bandwidth must match the sensor’s spectral range. Adequate protection windows are available for all versions. Please review the manual to verify which window best fits the sensor.

How do I install the window?

Turn the window until it reaches the end stop to install it on the sensing head. To combine it with the massive housing, please use the version with external thread M12x1.

What wrench size is required to screw on the lens?

The wrench size is 14 mm.

Can I exchange the protective windows from CT 4M for a CT LT?

No, the antireflection coating for 4M and LT sensors is different, so the measuring results will be slightly different.

How can I clean the window?

Blow off loose particles using clean compressed air. The lens surface can be cleaned with a soft, humid tissue (moistened with water) or a lens cleaner (e.g. Purosol or B+W Lens Cleaner).
