The compact Sensing Head Pipe Adapter has an M12x1 thread. It is an accessory for securely attaching infrared temperature sensor heads to a sighting tube with an M12x1 external thread. A sighting tube covers the optical path of the non-contact thermal sensor. This design stops interference from non-parasitic particles. The pipe adapter, along with sighting tubes, also acts as a buffer between the hot furnace wall and the pyrometer. This helps prevent exceeding the operating temperatures. Its sturdy stainless steel construction offers a dependable and long-lasting way to attach pyrometers to furnace walls.
