Our new CoolingJacket Advanced is the universal protection for your thermal imager from hot ambient temperatures up to 315 °C. It also allows the integration of additional components like PI NetBox, USB Server Gigabit and Industrial Process Interface (PIF) in the extended version.
Ethernet Cat. 6, USB- and sensor cables for ambient temperatures up to 250 °C as well as an optional cable cooling for up to 315 °C are available
The air purge unit complements the reliable CoolingJacket for use in harsh environments, especially in the metal and glass industries.
An integrated, infrared-transparent special window protects the optics of the camera or sensor on the one hand and enables an optimal laminar air flow on the other hand. This is particularly important because turbulence directly in front of the optics leads to dirt deposits. The Optris development engineers designed, extensively tested and optimized the air purge attachment in the in-house test center.
High or very low temperatures, humidity and dust – such environmental conditions pose great challenges for electronics. In order to be able to use sensitive devices without problems, protective measures are usually necessary. In order to be able to use the infrared cameras of the PI and Xi series, for example, even under adverse conditions, Optris now offers a new outdoor housing that ensures optimum protec-tion for the sensitive devices. The new housing offers for the first time the possibility to integrate an infrared camera and an HD video camera together in one compact system. A compact USB server is also integrated in the housing.
You will find the STEP files for our accessories in the download area.
Optris state-of-the-art infrared sensors are designed to operate continuously in hot environments, providing precise and reliable non contact temperature measurements. Nevertheless, accessories for infrared cameras are frequently overlooked in it’s complexity and as an essential cost factor in other competing setups.
For seamless integration into your industrial processes, Optris offers additional mechanical interfaces, high temperature cabling, interface and housing options. The affordable wide range accessories offered by Optris ensures optimal performance and protection as a complete solution in various demanding industrial applications. Optris offers a universal outdoor protection housings, capable of withstanding cold and hot ambient temperatures ranging from the -40 to 50 °C. These robust housings ensure reliable performance in diverse outdoor environmental conditions, making it an indispensable addition to enhance the durability of Optris infrared cameras and temperature sensors.
The Optris CoolingJacket Advanced for cameras stands as a testament to reliability and durability in hot environments. Specifically engineered and manufactured in Germany to safeguard the infrared camera in high-temperature surroundings, this cooling solution can effectively operate with air up to 100 °C and water up to 315 °C. The CoolingJacket Advanced not only ensures the longevity of the device but also facilitates the integration of additional components like PI NetBox, USB Server Gigabit, and the Industrial Process Interface (PIF). In industrial settings, where dirt, dust and smoke is prominent, Optris air purge collars come into play to ensure a clean optic. Available in different sizes to accommodate various devices, these collars provide protection against settlements of dirt. The laminar air flow technology takes center stage in our commitment to maintaining a clean and dust-free environment around the lens.
The continuous and uniform airflow minimizes the settling of dust on the lens, guaranteeing the longevity of the infrared camera's performance. Optris offers an array of protective windows to further enhance the robustness of the measurement devices. These optical accessories act as a barrier against harsh environmental conditions, vacuum or heat. The protective windows and mounting accessories are designed to withstand challenging industrial environments, making them an indispensable addition to integrate Optris products. Shutter mechanisms play a crucial role in safeguarding cameras from impacts. The shutter are closed for added protection, ensuring that your infrared sensor remains shielded when not in use.
This feature contributes to the overall longevity and reliability of the device, especially in environments prone to dirt, dust or debris from breaking glass. To prove the accuracy and precision of cameras, the devices can be acquired with a Certificate of Calibration, traceable to PTB or NIST standards. Optris not only delivers state-of-the-art infrared cameras but also provides a comprehensive range of accessories designed to enhance performance and protection.
From CoolingJacket Advanced to air purge collars, cables, protective windows, shutters, and industrial interfaces – Optris offers a solution in every aspect of non-contact temperature sensing in harsh industrial environments.
Our experienced application engineers ensure competent and reliable customer service in the field. In addition, Optris works closely with numerous distribution partners worldwide.
