Compact IR Cameras with Industrial Accessories
The infrared cameras from the Optris Compact Line, the Xi 80 and Xi 400, have been supplemented with new industrial accessories for use in rough conditions. The system has a modular design and as a result, the water cooled housing, the air purge unit and the shutter can be used both individually and combined.
IR Camera with Rugged Accessory for Glass Industry
In 2014 and 2016, Optris brought two special infrared cameras for the glass industry – the PI 450 G7 and the PI 640 G7 – to the market. In order to meet the industry-specific requirements, an innovative laminar air purge collar was developed in addition to the rugged CoolingJacket.
Cooling Housing with New Protective Casings
The new cooling housing CoolingJacket Advanced for infrared cameras and infrared thermometers made by Optris can now be purchased with a protective window or protective grids as an option.
New Powerful Mini PC for Infrared Cameras
The optris® PI NetBox – the new mini PC by Optris – is markedly more powerful than its predecessor. It can be used to operate all infrared cameras in the PI series – as a stand-alone system or as a cable extension via GigE.
Outdoor Protective Housing for Infrared Cameras
As well as cooling housing, Optris GmbH now also offers specially designed protective housing for the outdoors. This allows the optris PI Series infrared cameras to be used outdoors all year round in rough conditions.
Premiere of “Vigilance Control” in Industrial Process Interface
The new process interface (PIF) from Optris GmbH enables automatic process monitoring, for the continuous in-operation control of the hardware of the PI infrared cameras with all cable connections and the free analysis software PIX Connect.
GigE for Temperature Measurement Devices
The optris® USB server Gigabit enables the connection of USB infrared cameras and video pyrometers from Optris GmbH to gigabit ethernet networks. This permits a direct connection between a temperature sensor and a PC with cable lengths of up to 100 meters.
CoolingJacket for Infrared Cameras up to 315 °C
Optris GmbH has developed the new cooling jacket optris® CoolingJacket Advanced for use with its infrared cameras and certain infrared thermometers in ambient temperatures of up to 315 °C.
