Our new product, the highspeed pyrometer optris CT 4M, has been selected by WEKA FACHMEDIEN Verlag and is now up for the coveted “Product of the Year” award in the measurement technology category.

All interested parties and readers of the industry magazine “computer&automation” are invited to vote for their TOP products until February 28, 2022.

The ultra-fast optris CT 4M was nominated. Thanks to its acquisition time of 90 µs, it can be optimally used for temperature measurement in very fast, high-volume production and packaging processes. Typical examples are machines for plastics processing, such as blow molding of PET bottles, which operate with very short cycle times.

The CT 4M measures in the spectral range from 2.2 µm to 6.0 µm, which is why it is also ideal for low-temperature measurements (0 °C to 500 °C) on metals, metal oxides, ceramics or for materials with unknown or changing emissivity. Another advantage is that the CT 4M can be connected not only to a PC but also to an Android smartphone on which the free IRmobile app is installed. Data can also be recorded and evaluated here.
