Calibration Source BR 500

The Optris BR 500 is a high-performance infrared reference radiation source, or blackbody, designed for precise calibration of infrared cameras and pyrometers. As the successor to the BR 400, it offers better usability, improved performance, and a wider temperature range.

With a maximum reference temperature of 500 °C, the BR 500 broadens the range for verification and calibration tasks. It provides very stable and uniform radiation, ensuring reliable and repeatable results. You can measure radiation temperature accurately using a contact thermometer with emissivity determination or a transfer standard infrared thermometer.

A modern touch display allows for quick setup and easy use. Its compact and sturdy design, along with high precision and long-term stability, makes the BR 500 suitable for both initial calibration and routine verification.

Wie kalibriere ich einen Infrarotsensor?

Der Kalibriervorgang umfasst in der Regel die Anpassung der Sensoreinstellungen an eine bekannte Referenztemperatur, die von einer Kalibrierquelle bereitgestellt wird. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass der Sensor präzise Messergebnisse liefert. Detaillierte Anweisungen finden Sie im Handbuch des jeweiligen Geräts oder erhalten Sie direkt von Optris.
